In his short, miserable life,
Bones never got excited
about anything.

Bones was endowed
with a serious case
of low blood pressure.

He seldom laughed,
and never cried.

That’s just the way he was made,
he couldn’t help it,
and nothing could be done for it.

Thanks dear Margherita,

This poem was inspired by a visit to my doctor. My blood pressure remains abnormally low. It's always been that way. When I was a kid, the doctor would start pounding on my chest to make sure I was alive.

Of course Bones and I both want to live.

I wish you to SHAKE with laughter, dear Bobby, so that your blood pressure rises a little ... believe me it is the best way to stay healthy. Taking all things too seriously can have a negative impact.

It seems that low blood pressure is a lesser risk factor than high ...

funny though, I have low blood pressure but it doesn't keep me from getting upset or crying
