Bones In Winter |

It’s winter, and the wind is howling over Bone’s and his Mom’s row. The temperature’s dropped into the twenties. Bones and Mom don’t have any money for heat. There is one thing nice about Philadelphia row houses with thin walls. If your house is in the middle of the row, you can share some of your neighbor’s heat. It comes through the walls. The temperature never drops below freezing. If you bundle up real good with clothes, and lay next to a wall, you can sometimes get a little sleep. Yeah, it’s frightening just thinking about it.
