thanks to all those who reply to my poems for their warm words.

Moonlight Reflection

it's almost midnight
and wiseman James
is taking a walk

he goes to the shore
he likes the sea
he likes how the moon looks
when reflected
in the calm waters

wiseman James is thinking
and as always
bringing back old memories

he remembered his family
then his friends
and then, although he tried not to
he remembered her

if only he hadn't been
blinded by anger
if only he had been
more sensitive

he repeats to himself
in the loneliness of the night
'no matter how wise you can be
there's always something dark
something evil
ready to blind all wisdom'

and that's exactly when
you go out to take a walk at night
when you need moonlight reflection

now wiseman James would go back
and apologize
yes, its preety late
but even so
he would kiss her
he would spell those words
that for some reason
are difficult to spell
i'm sorry he would say
and then go to sleep

he's sure that
she won't undestand
because she won't remember
or at least
that's what he thinks

Luckily, wisdom returns in such moments from the misty reclusion because of angry moments ...

You said this very beautifully again.

Yo quiero la atmòsfera que tu sabes crear en tus poemas. Querìa esperar todavia en una conclusiòn mas positiva. Hay que creer!

Love,

Beautiful poem full of wisdom.  It is better to be wise after the fact than not at all.

And your ending?  Owl believes that Wiseman James should take the chance.  Owl believes that she WILL understand because she WILL remember.

Wishing you courage, wisdom and happiness

Oh, and Denis!  I suggest that you present her with this poem.  That will really do it!
