This journey of Life
we have embarked upon
can be very confusing.
It is sometimes a jolly jaunt of jubilation.
Often it is a pitiable and perilous path,
filled with pitfalls and pain.

Others have journeyed before us,
and have given us the blessings of their wisdom.
I am driven by my heart to share some of these with you,
in hopes that they will assist you in your ventures
and bring clarity to the confusion.

When the struggles of Life seem too much to bear...

Remember that there's
a new day dawning
and that tomorrow is not guaranteed.

So, give no thought of tomorrow
and always plan ahead.

Always look before you leap
and remember that
He who hesitates is lost.

There is always someone worse off than yourself
and do not compare yourself to others.

Its important to have good role models
and to always be yourself.

Remember that Silence is Golden
and don't be afraid to speak your mind.

Remember, as you interact with others,
that familiarity breeds contempt
and to never trust a stranger.

Concerning those you leave behind...
As to whether or not they shall remember you...
Be comforted in knowing that Absence
makes the heart fonder
and Out of sight, Out of mind.

Be loyal to God and country
and remember that
no one can serve two masters.

He who lives by the sword
shall die by the sword,
so walk softly and carry a big stick.

If you've got it...flaunt it.
But don't make a
spectacle of yourself.

Just stay humble and
hold your head up high.

Remember to roll with the punches
and to never give an inch.

Keep your eyes on the horizon
and always watch your back trail.

A rolling stone gathers no moss
and you should keep your feet
firmly planted on the ground.

Never settle for less than you deserve
and in all things be content.

Anything easy to get
is not worth having
and the best things in life are free.

I hope this clears up any confusion
and that your journey will be an interesting one.

Slow and steady wins the race...
So...Full speed ahead !

How wonderful, Larry!  Thank you for this!  Life is a joke, ain't it? I think your teaming up of various "words of wisdom" will keep me chuckling for some time.

Larry, you are a dear - thank you.  Yes, I am the one and only "Honeybunch" (and I was going to add that no one else would want to be me but I pivoted) and that Honeybunch is both the approver and the accuser.  She seeks balance, you know, in all things but the pendulum swings and, hell, it even drops every now and again but, but, but, it never breaks!  Now isn't that amazing grace?

Well, dear Larry, this is definitely a great read, makes one tumble and find steadiness in the very same moment, which is just perfect for balance.

How lovely your offering to our very unique and precious "Honeybunch".

We are all acrobats, trained to keep the balance, but better provide for a soft landing ... just in case ...

Thank you for the very wise reminder!

Love,
Margherita

Be noble for you are made of stars."

Now, doesn't this fit so perfectly in here. Just found it on inspirationpeak ...
