Skinny little
skin and bones
Bones
out on the ball yard

never found the need
to moan and cry
about his position in life,

and how he was used
at home,
or on the street.

He accepted it all
without mention,
and moved on.

There was nothing
he could do about it
anyway.

Bobby

You stir compassion and love with this tribute to little Bones, who had such a tough life, but maybe he knew instinctively the mission he was assigned, who knows.

Thank you, dear Bobby, for always touching our hearts.

Love,

Thanks dear Margherita,

For the kind words on this effort.

The tough, hard life prepares a better place for a kid like Bones.  That's the way it works.

I am very sure that Bones had had a very important mission to accomplish and in touching all of your readers it would seem that he accomplished it.

Thanks dear Ida,

For the kind words on this.

I think everyone has a mission in life, and they all just do it.

Bobby, I agree with all you and everyone said.  Unfortunately not everyone's mission is a good one.  For example, my boss is in construction, but his mission is destruction - of everyone with whom he comes into contact.  However, our clash comes because I won't allow him to destroy me.  I am going to resign as soon as I have found another job.  However, missing his four dogs (and even more, their missing me) will break my heart, but Bones teaches me that I can manage, even the latter - wow Bones, I am going to need your help with that.

Sometimes I hate these poems.  I think sometimes we have to hate these poems.

Thanks dear OwlSA,

Don't be rash about quitting your job.  Always think those things over very carefully.

Bobby,

It's just a passing feeling when I read some of your poems.  I hate child abuse and I hate children suffering.  That's a hate that I would never want to profit from.  Your poetry instills a deep feeling in me - that is why I think it is so good.

Thanks dear Alison,

That's a good policy Hon.  I'm glad my poems work for you in that way.

Love Bobby
