The one thing in his young,
way too short life,
Bones never did was
whine,
whimper,
and moan
about how miserable
his life was.

That opportunity
never occurred to him
while alive.

Even if it had,
he would never have done it.

He had way too much sense,
and God given pride
as a human being
to indulge himself in any sort
of self pity.

He realized at a very young age
that it wouldn’t do him any good,
and that no one was interested
to hear about his problems.

In addition,
he noticed early on,
there’s just no money in it.

Any thing that would happen to him
in his life
he accepted with dignity.

He knew that to be,
an absolute necessity.

Bobby

A rare and precious quality, dear Bobby. His short life did have its purpose ... you see through your words he lives and moves our hearts to compassion and appreciation.

Love,

"Any thing that would happen to him
in his life
he accepted with dignity."

~ Acceptance with dignity of the cards that one is dealt in life, is often in rare supply.
How sad it was that his life was cut so short.

Have you noticed that it's the ones who have something to whine about that don't whine?

Thanks dear Margherita,

I never did hear one word of complaint from Bones about his life.  He would sit on the settlement house steps and tell us about it, not a word of complaint.  There was nothing we could do about it.  He needed that money.

Thanks dear Linda,

Yes, it is sad he's not still around.

Acceptance of your life without complaint is the mark of an adult.  Whining and complaining is the mark of a child.

That's absolutely true.
whining, complaining, or always crying about on people's shoulders does no good.
but, sometimes you've got to take your pride away just for a moment, sometimes to whine a little let's you relax your mind & your heart, so that you may find a solution to any problem.
pride is always related to wisdom.
