Me and George A Romero said that zombies are real But they didn't believe us They are everywhere You're probably one Acting out your basic instinct for hunger and violence Instead of craving brains You crave self destruction and ignorance Everything you consume has been murdered or dumbed down So you can digest it and understand a little better The value of human life is determined by your skin color Humanity has a cold stare in its eyes The zombies pray to an imaginary man in the sky And then soon as church lets out they kill your mother They eat the flesh of other animals for their benefit And say they live for "god" despite their devilish ways When will the zombies be human again is what I ask? Supposedly if you aim for the head You can take them out with one blast We all know that everything dies The only choice we have Is if we die as the truth or as a bunch of lies What is that foul stench that attracts all the maggots and flies That is the smell of humanity dying Because most of the humans have turned into zombies [This message has been edited by Street Poet (08-16-2008 03:45 PM).] |

Humanity has a cold stare in its eyes Yes, this is true for a great part of humanity, but I do believe there is an awakening to LOVE. I know people who really care for humanity's destiny and they work in that direction. Your poem is a strong denunciation. Thank you. I've run into a few and they give me the chills...I think it has something to do with them taking drugs...James |
