Promissory Note

Days, spring board shuffled the hand of time
Molted and muffled in some grand design
Feathers falling like snow, through the simmered sun’s glow
Looking back as I watch them combine
Dealing done by the slight hand of time

As they pass by my eyes, ne’er to weep their demise
Though I know moments glisten reminiscent unwise
As if taught on the fly, clever statements defy
For the wings of a whisper speeded on enterprise
Dealing done in good times fated sighs

Every once in a while, there by dusks soft beguile
Held so precious a tear shed bequest every trial
In the days still to come, paying forward now done
Looking over the future hope sutures in smile
Dealing done as time fades by the mile

Although I am not particularly fond of endline rhyme, some really fine images here!

The title is all so fitting for the words that fall into perfect pitch beneath it.
Breathlessly lovely
