In the winds of Cherokee song

0 posted 2008-08-11 04:59 PM

Moments Notice

Between the lights of lyrics filling the summer wind
The embrace of gaze captured the tunes of amaze
Releasing the intrigue of capture in a slow descend
Watching as the setting sun set the horizon ablaze

Hidden in the top row of shadows set in a slow sway
Rhythm of wonder called upon destiny for a chance
Two seperate worlds relishing each rising note in play
Unaware of a merge where they would together dance

A song with no words being written in tomorrow's pen
Waiting for two hearts to script ink in a beginning note
Visions of harmonies set in the dream of future begin
Resting in crescendos of future hope that destiny wrote

Time upon chance and chance upon admiration's glow
Relinquishing barriers of chorus set against each sigh
Forging new paths against what we have come to know
Setting the stage for a private concert within August sky

Mark Christopher

Dear Mark Christopher, tiger man (wow!), I love your poem very much and the last stanza truly sings and induces sighs.

Wonderful! And yes, I am very happy too that you have come back.

Love,
Margherita

Your prhasing, coupled with the imagery, make me read slower, which was quite nice with your title...like a leaf falling in slo-mo..."notice this."

Nice work, as always. Good to see you again.

Mark! You've been gone so long, I was beginning to think that you had been eaten by that tiger!

This is so lyrical, 'visually' appealing, and poetic, I believe that it is a song, a painting, and a poem all wrapped up in one creatively appealing post!

Giving  you a very warm, welcome-back pip hug,

Linda
