Karma

Interrupted my life,
yours did,
and opened a window
through which spirits blew
displacing everything I believed,
instilling love so profound,
I was born again.
And my Father’s Father
who believed in the essence of souls,
told me yours. . .
was always mine.
Karma tied us, inexplicably, unbreakably.
We have always been one,
you and I, Us – since souls began.
But you closed the window,
broke the Karmic bond,
sealed me in a place
that won’t even let me die;
won’t give me the grace
of oblivion,
just leaves me feeling, unendingly,
the love, so profound,
I was born again in Us,
as in you and I,
now,
just Me.

Poignant write, dear Jimmy. I wonder though if a karmic bond can actually be broken. It might be perceived, but as an illusion. Love goes on and it is a privilege to feel it always.

Love,
Margherita

As refreshing as ever is your perspective and the soul you pen with.  Very much enjoyed.
