Where no tyranny is tolerable

My parents, who are dead

are taking me, unwilling,
to the house of some rich couple.
Mother is 180 years old.
We get there and are served shampaindd
While my dead parents banter with the old couple
they give me a glass of thick shampain.
But it has the consistency of egg nog.
But how could this weird stuff be shampain?
Maybe it is really snoops ....
Then, as I am drinking it, they give me another glass
and say they can show me how to make shampain
if I should want some more.
I think: What?
You can't just "make" shampain
like you can "make" peanut butter,
like you can "make" leftovers.
They give me instructions what to do,
and I start putting ingredients in the empty glass.
At the same time I am adding the ingredients
and drinking the shampain,
I am spooning peanut butter
straight from a jar into my mouth.
MMM GOOD!

Then the ingredient glass overflows
because it has too many ingredients,
so I get a napkin off the floor
to clean up the mess.
I ponder:
Why would I have to get a napkin off the floor?
Who all might have stepped on it?
I finish with the ingredients,
but they say the shampain isn't ready.
They say it still needs peanut butter added.
I try to spoon peanut butter into the shampain,
but the peanut butter sticks to the spoon;
it will not fall into the shampain,
so I have to dislodge it with my finger.
I am going to invent a kind of leftovers
where you don't have to make them,
because they will make themselves.
Wouldn't it be great
not to have to buy them at the store?
(leftovers, I mean"
How much do leftovers cost these days?
Wouldn't it be great
not to have to make leftovers?
Just go to enough parties,
and they will let you
take them home for free.
I ponder:
Is peanut butter just one word or two?
That's why I put a space between it, or them.
Da da da da da da da da da da

Ringinginginginginging

...  uh ...  hello ...
Yes, I'd like to order
some fried leftover no anchovies please? ...  (click) ...  what?
Hello? Hello? ...
...  Hello? ...  is anybody there? ... ...
I have to go now.
I need to go to the sink and make some water.
But if making water doesn't work
I'll make some coffee.
But if there isn't enough coffee to make coffee with,
(everybody knows
that you must have coffee
before you can make coffee).
I could always make some ice.

Which came first,
the coffee or the coffee?

Friendship is for Life, if not Forever.
