Tightrope

Tell me your thoughts, reveal to me what’s in your mind
Open up yourself, express your feelings and then you will find
A deeper sense of feeling with every part you share
Powerful releases as you convey and leave it bare
Tell me what you want, what you desire, what you crave
Opinions which make you who you are, influencing how you behave
I want to know your inner thoughts, of what you really think
Piece together your fragment mind; help me find the missing link
As you share you’ll help me understand, to find the real you
To know why you say the things you say, why you do the things you do
So disclose your thoughts, let me inside let me witness every emotion, every desire
And then I’ll know just where I stand, instead of walking upon a wire
