i
dream of
far-a-way
places to go
in my wander-lust
of scenes I'll never see
at least not with my own eyes
surreal to me but commonplace
to all those claiming it as their home
in my head but a dream mystery.

i
dream of
where life will
take and make me
by it's uncharterd course
a path uniquely mine
plodding t'ward my destiny
the fullness of all i become
will that transforming journey of time
cause me to be unrecognizable
or bring to fruition life's present seed?

oh, how i dream!
