     Window on the Universe

In this ancient, deep-mountain home
of profoundly peaceful silence and
  gentle beauty,
all that lies beyond is empty
  and transient…
as smoke in a whirlwind,
lake bubbles reflecting
  lightning flashes,
images lost in dusty mirrors,
or the endlessly wandering
grains of Sahara sands…

Here, the clear mind is melody,
the spirit harmony…
that illuminate the universe.

Yo Secondhanddreampoet,

This is a very good view of your mountainous country.

"Like bubbles reflecting lightening flashes"
Yor descriptions are always so original, Bruce.

"as smoke in a whirlwind,

The contrast between the eternal stand of the mountains and all that is temporary or lost is beautifully rendered in this work.
