While we wait for our lives to begin
I want to tell you something
It’s true
I was looking at you wanting a wish to come true
Sometimes not everything you get
I wish this wasn’t right
We were built to try
All I know is that it doesn’t work the way you want it
My head spins trying to figure her out
Woke up today
With her on my mind
About the time I want to leave
You come walking around
I see your face with the expression that says you’re dumb
Why don’t you leave before you become undone?
All the time I hear your name said peacefully
I grow chills that make every body know
That the girl I want around
Is close
So I better stay here to let her know
That I want to show her my name

this is a nice write, it sounds like you lost or cant get with the girl you want..
