I have puréed
the world

nectar
no longer speaks
of the violence
of butterflies

bullet tips
have lost
their gentle curves

the crayons
that are no more
are all the same
colour

everything
is perfect now
except me --
the pebble
in the blender

Here I thought my blender had a defective part.
Not to be put off,  I'll have whatever you're having just the same.

Your title was the real kicker, and I especially loved the bite to this!

I never actually looked at it from that point of view before, and that's what poets and poetry should do, methinks.
