A State of Disarray

0 posted 2008-07-27 09:44 AM

In a wistful, wishful moment
I dream...of being with you
In a field of dancing Sweet Grass
A place where antelope play
Tomorrow’s minds would meld
In yesterday’s bodies
While the Indian flute
Played tender refrains
Knowing each other
Wholly, without words,
In a time where our entirety
Could not be conveyed
In even the simplest of terms
Fingers would dismay
And scintillate the joining
While a cascade of emotion
Complements the day
Yet now you do not know me
Our masks are all we share
And our souls do only passing
In a soft and silent way

I would love the feel of you...

Aww.. this started with such promise until the lack of soul bonding was revealed. What a sweet disappointment. Loved it!

The mind is a glorious imaginitive way of transportion.
Like taking a vacation to all the places in our dreams.

Wonderfully expressive poem you wrote.  Much enjoyed, amusemi~

Thank you for your comments and for reading.

gd-I looked up the song you cited and I can say honestly that I avidly avoid anything that even resembles a ship that's sinking, any man from New Jersey/Pennsylvania and anyone named Terry for that matter (but, metaphorically it did give me quite the giggle!)  It was just a poem.  Been writing for awhile...thanks for your compliments...I hope to see great things from you...I do believe you have a talent.  Moving on...
