SQUINTING

By Khe Iem

swiveling one’s head
rolling one’s feet

accidentally confronting but
keeping silent while
passing through
A town of half-breeds (angered)

punching the air, lost to the world
                                  vast

buttocks, thighs and breasts.  Wandering crazily,
confined.  The pounding of loosened throats.  East and West.  Faces grimacing,

squinting

Yo Khe Iem,

This makes no sense to me.

Whats-a-matter lamb-chop, you got a problem with us half-breeds?

Bobby

Hmm... I almost think I understand this. It helps that I am a half-breed myself.

While I can't completely comprehend your poem Khe Lem, Your style and syntax was brilliant.
