I see a crawlie creep her way,
Through overlying roots under my swing.
She looks up and wonders,
Why shadows crawled,
Every time I swung back, over her world.

To is to dark and fro is for light,
She seems to reckon and silently creeps.
I wonder if she knows,
The harm I could deal,
If I decide to stroke her immaculate realm.

And then I realize the frailty of mine.

Wow. I have got to say that the majority of poets I've seen out of India never fail to tickle my poetic taste buds. Awesome write.

You pose a hidden question I have asked myself many times. Would I like to live somewhere exotic where the threads that make up life are sometimes spotted with danger. And then I think of the relative benign safety of my own land and how I've grown accustomed to that.

The beauty of this poem lies in the swing of the words, the viewpoint, the rhythm that finds echo in the contrasting images, both the dark and the light.

A wonderful poem.

Philosophically and poetically outstanding work!
