Where no tyranny is tolerable

The inner and the outer ...
The inner world is populated
by multiple inner figures,
a homunculi of "you can do it" cheerleaders.
the harmony or discord among your inner cheerleaders,
is mimicked by the harmony or discord
with others in the outer world.
The two worlds always will mimic and reflect each other.
Everything in the built or felt environment
was, at one time, only someone's dream;
and in time the dream became manifested in the world we know.
The Hebrew scriptures relate
that Jave, the Creator,
had only to speak His thoughts ...
Let there be Light,
and there was light;
and the light was good.
To change the world, begin within.
There is no greater humiliation,
no more terrifying hallucination,
than having to listen for hours and hours and hours
to the ceaseless, berating voices heard from within.
And there is nothing more comforting and more indescribably beautiful,
than listening to an inner, earthly angel muse
tell you that you are desirable and loved.
and, in time, the outer world will manifest either your heaven or your hell.
the vision of your fantasy will come real.
Imagine the quality of friendships you want
among these sub selves,
and outer relationships will mimic
everything that transpires within,
for you already have what you are looking for.

When I was first introduced to this concept,
I decided to try it out,
hoping it was more
than vacuous, "new age" verbiage toaddle.
I imagined myself on the University of Colorado campus.
I began to take greater and greater risks,
planing ice that grew thinner and thinner.
What followed was like a series of miracles.
I made new friends through a national organization.
And with their support prevailed
against a series of losing battles.
And then, one day, I stood
in the Student Union building on the Boulder campus.
but it would not have come about that way,
I wouldn't even been posting here today,
but for a fantasy, ... a dream ...
I am still an amateur, and know no more than others,
yet it seems to me,
that nothing is ever attained
until one lets one self succumb to a dream,
and then let the dream carry you into the future.
I owe all the gifts I have been given
to others who believed in me even when I didn't;
and it is largely a testament to their love
and to their faith in me,
that I am standing here today,
that I can sit here and bang this stupid keyboard
and post on Pips.
(Scuse any typos I'm ready to throw this thing out the window)!

Dear Jaime, you are the gift. This is so deeply insightful and beautifully stated.

Thank you for sitting and typing, it is a pleasure to listen to you.

Profound truth!
There are many of us who feel this way. Thank you, amigo, for saying it so clearly!
You live the dream...and inspire all those who meet you to reach for the stars.

Hi Jaime - thank you for writing this just when I needed to read it.  You are an inspiration and indeed what the mind can perceive (dream) it can achieve.
