Walk Away Moon ~*Marge Tindal*~ ~Walk away moon In this phasing-of-July Tell me exactly the reason why You would let a loved one walk away Not expecting him to foreverly stay Do you shine your beams upon him yet Knowing that he chose to easily forget The beloved one that he swore to hold As her failing health began to unfold Did you light the path that he took Without the heed or another look Walk away moon, oh me oh my How you do make me cry~ ~Oh walk away moon Behind ruffled clouds of deny Do you feel the tears that I cry Still all alone in this month of July Dear walk away moon, I think that I Will I never see your beams as before Back when the man, that I did adore Held me tenderly until morning light Promises he made died in the night I believe that you surely do know How my heart is hurting so~ **I know, I know, but sometimes the moon is just bluer than blue** ~*The sound of a kiss is not as strong as that of a cannon, but it's echo endures much longer*~ |
