"Undecided"

So... she posed this question to me like....
When are you gonna get married?
As a man who claims to be fearless
The thought of settling down kinda scares me
Because that would mean sharing my heart
And all the possessions that I own
No more partying with the fellas
Because at home is where I belong
Adjusting to life with one woman
No more broads chasing after you
To be quite honest
Part of me believes that monogamy isn't natural
But being 60 years old still trying to club isn't practical
So what's a young man like me to do?
Don't get it twisted
I never had a problem being faithful
Although temptation is a dish that is very tasteful
It's just that forever is a long time
And showing love and affection
Doesn't come natural to me like my ability to rhyme
If I ever do fall in love
I want the passion to be old school
Like Marvin Gaye's "I Want You"
Until then we'll see
When it comes to relationships
I'll let destiny decide whose my bride to be
So... to answer her question
My reply isn't yes, no, or maybe so
It's if time could be bought I'd buy it
Because with all the failing relationships I see
Right now.... I'm undecided.

Yes, you tell it like it is for you but perhaps being undecided shouldn't be based on other peoples failing or failed relationships.  When a relationship/marriage is right for you, you'll know it but that knowing could be contaminated by what you see around you.  We perhaps owe it to ourselves not to let that happen. Excuse the "soap box" but it's Sunday night in my neck of the woods.  That's my excuse.

I like the way this one rambles around the neighborhood to come back where it started, so it can start all over again.
