Why is it that I attract powerful men who spend days leading other men, those who think I'm more beautiful than I would ever think I am, the ones who have money and want to settle down, those who are most often well known around town. Why is it that I attract the older men who spend their nights at my feet, most say it's my eyes that drew them and then they couldn't retreat. Why do I attract the handsome men who hold me like they can't let go, many broken hearts in my wake, but it's not like I didn't tell them so. Why is it that I can have most any man I choose, but I'm still stuck on the one I would eventually lose. |
