You spin my hair into a web, your voodoo words echo through the air. A method of survival, I was already paired so adequately with the tears of this delusion. My hands slip so eloquently through the withered dreams, the echoes of the shadow beneath our sycamore tree. The willows also shine, in hopeless despair so quiet in my mind. My eyes are closed to seeing a triumph of juxtaposition. And Oh, I'll spit you out like day glow fire you will cease to exist. You will forget that you had any meaning, you will lose all importance. You spin my hair into a web, not knowing the spring will catch you, your leaves and branches so twisted and incomplete, you will never stop loving me. |

I've never heard (or read) you talk about how, why, or what you write, but it reads so naturally, it feels like intimate conversation. I tend to suspect you speak in poetry.  I'm sooooooo glad you are back!  And I quoted the above, because that's the part where I felt addressed personally--but I guess everybody feels that sooner or later. I'm shrugging, but I guess when it looks like your baby birds are about to fly the nest, I'm not only feeling unimportant, but downright unnecessary.  (I know that might not be what you meant, but as I said, you write so intimately!) I'm a fan, can ya tell?  |
