Those blinding lights
Slivering my pupils,
Rigid recollections
Flashing through me;
Pulsing my blood thin.
Tensing each muscle;
Epileptic memories,
Panning before me.
Overwhelming my mind,
Piercing every cell;
Tearing ties to the past.
Eyes flutter open.
Once again,
Those blinding lights.
Sliver my pupils.
Giving birth;
To a new world.

Wow! this is good writing, Preston. I don't have epilepsy but have had some experiences with it (my grandmother and a good friend were epileptic) and can appreciate what you are sharing with us.

Yo PrestonThePoet,

This is a good write.  I have no problems with it.  It takes me way back 55 years to a good friend in school who had epilepsy.  He's one of the good guys.  You have the description just right.

Keep up the good writing about this subject.
