If anyone should follow
my path from there to here...
please pause amid the marshes
and gather up my tears.
Pour them out
upon the grass
at the grave where Father lies.
'Though he did not know,
may it grow to show,
sometimes men do cry

If anyone should follow...
kindly look around
for my broken halo,
down in some unholy ground.
Brush it off
and bury it
in the grave where Mother lies
I never wore it anyway
except in Mama's eyes

If anyone should follow
upon the waters I have trod...
look closely at reflections
when searching for your god.
He rests lightly on the surface.
Don't stir the depths,
but drink your fill.
The source of all the ripples
is learned by being still.

If anyone should follow...
with companion or alone...
you may freely breathe my breath
and walk upon my bones

Moving - and needing to go back to the top.  Excellent poem.

You are so very wise, Uriah. This poem comes from a beautiful place.
