it was always easier to love your trees
when they stood up in the desert
and gave one promises of more
than just the casual sand shapes

although they were all as willing women
more often than nothing else
but they were just something for the sky
to rub her itching belly on

when feeding on the leather side
of manskins that didn't fill her hunger
but only soothed her throat
after the lifetimes of moaning

pretending she was the stranger's wind

D

I dunno, I just felt like I was transported some place with this one.  I liked it and wondered where I was going.  But, I didn't really need to know.
