I have (as I'm sure many others here have) been down that road/river/staircase. It's a lonely, lonely place, but sometimes, often unexpectedly, it leads to a better place than the one you're leaving. |

Beautiful poem, Victor. My very favourite lines are: "Grieve yet teach/This lonely man" and my favourite word is "teach" and this shows that in the midst of your sorrow, you know consciously and sub-consciously that there is help out there - for a start, from your own spirit, will and actions, from your Pipper friends, from your friends in your daily life, from the unknown future - and that just for a start. - Owl |
