They feel closer as they hold one another,
They grow in a bond as they love together.
She's scared she knows,
Of the hurt that love bestows.
'He's scared too...'
she thinks.
'If he only knew...'
her heart sinks.
What if he isnt scared?
It's happened before.
This time she is prepared.
To have her heart be torn.

"Tonight" she whispers,
"I will try"
Why live in love as a secret,
fear is no reason to keep it.
Embrace together or fall apart,
Tonight she will find out if love is worth the risk of loss.

Amazing. I just this moment wrote and posted an improv in the dark poetry forum about love, not so great as this, but with a similar title called, "Undefined." It sucks and isn't worth reading but the subject seems to be universal. Your poem, however, does not suck. I like yours better, but I was in a mood, lol!
