Sometimes
when two roses
fall in love,
one of them
loves more
that the other one.

When the other one
weighs up it
she fades sometimes
and abandons
its perfumes
at random
of the breeze.

The wind then
takes their love
away…

Can be she
would have better
made consider
that she was jealous.

Dear Yann, jealousy is most certainly the first cause of an unbalanced love and the risk of rupture.

This soft nudge beautifully rendered will speak to many, no doubt!

Love,
Margherita

I have never understood jealousy, it is not really a part of my personality but I have
witnessed the unbelieveable chaos it can  cause for those who give in to such an ugly emotion or to those who make the mistake of being flattered by it. A subject worth exploring, yann.

Thank You Ida, when I was young I was stupidly jealous and didn't control it...I think there is nothing more stupid and naughty that jealousy, It's a big lack of respect and faithfulness...

    thanks

Hard to accept, appreciate, forgive and love when allowing jealousy, controlling and manipulating a place in a relationship...James

Yann, you describe a sad situation which probably happens more often than both parties loving each other equally, and you display magnificently deep philosophical wisdom at a possible solution.

Jealousy is such a damaging emotion, and can even kill.  Some people, as Ida said, are flattered by it - and that, in my opinion is sick - worse still, some people try to make others jealous with all the intent in the world.

Jealousy is an extremely interesting and complex subject and a whole set of encyclopaedias could be written on it.
