My mouth is a battlefield,
two lost crowns,
a tooth which vacillates,
a tooth decay that sound the bugle,
Tomorrow I’ll sign the armistice
and surrender to my dentist.

Oh, dear Yann, this is sooooo cute!! The best attitude is one of TRUST. You really have to surrender!

It's always an unpleasant experience, but untended toothache can be worse! So take the courage and walk straight with faith!

Love and soothing hugs.

Yo Yann,

Some people have bad teeth.  I lost my last natural tooth forty years ago.  It the best thing I ever did for myself.  No more tooth troubles.

My mouth is no battlefield,
Although calcium has been blasted away
For silver alloys fills where it did yield;
Yet my mouth always has its say.
If there is battle it is in my voice
Taken to hypocrites and fools,
They are my battle of choice
Crowned calcium are only tools.

I will think of you tomorrow at your dentist, Yann.  I know you know that it will be worth it.  The experience at the dentist won't be enjoyable; you may have discomfort and even a certain amount of pain for a while, but all that will soon be over, and you will feel so much better after that.  The most important thing to do while the dentist is working in your mouth is to RELAX and to KEEP YOUR HEAD STILL.  It may make you feel better to close your eyes too, so that you don't see the tools that he is working with.  Just think of something relaxing, like falling asleep after a long difficult day - or lying on a beach in the sun.  Good luck, and make sure you get a good night's rest tonight.  I enjoyed your poem.

I think this is hillarious.  Fun words make these horrible dental issues "smiley".
