Silent
Wordless
Never meant
to be.
I laughed with you
   and smiled with you
   and forgot my boundaries.
Sad
Shifts
Friends no more
I fear.
The time has come
   to part our ways
to this I shed a tear.
Solid
Satisfied
I embrace
my fate.
Knowing well the
    time with you was
    stolen while we wait.
Schooled
Sanguine
Smiling at
the thought.
Lifelong moments:
    they are short, but
they will never be for naught

Meaningful words, and extremely well written ones.

No, indeed, not even a moment is wasted, everything has its meaning.
This is very insightful I would say and very beautifully rendered.

In case you haven’t realized it yet,
You are a poet
Or a poetess, if you prefer.
And a really good one at that!

I really liked this Debra!

Especially:

Knowing well the
    time with you was
    time stolen while we wait.

Lifelong moments:
    they are short, but
they will never be for naught

That is some real good gumption there Grae
Which brings me to my next topic, your moniker.
To me, it just doesn’t suit you.
I know it’s your name, and it’s a nice one to be sure.
But it sounds like Gray Shine?
I don’t know, I’m just not feelin it
You know what I’m saying.

Okay, let’s keep the Shine, because just like
Your Auntie, you both do that really well,
But let’s just wash that gray right out of your hair
(Why did I just feel like I was in a commercial?)

Okay, here’s a few choices for ya:

How about DayShine? Not too bad huh, kinda catchy.
MoonShine? You know, that moon we were talking about yesterday, how nice it is. Oh wait, hang on a sec, “what, it’s actually a name for illegally made hooch juice?!”  Oh forget about it, let’s scratch that one.
Hey, howabout, RainOrShine? No?
RiseAndShine? Oh, you’re not an early riser huh, yeah, either am I.
I know… ShoeShine! Oh, you don’t like that one either eh?
Well than you’re certainly not going to like SpitShine then.

Okay, Okay, I got it I tell you… ! …

StarShine!!!!!!!!!!

I knew I could do it.
That’s it, that’s my new name for you from now on.
No, no, no, payment is necessary, really.

Just keep smiling that big bright smile of your’s
Like the shining star that you truly are.

Best Regards,
RichShine

Too bad I don't have kin that administrates on here and could change all of my "graehine2006"s to "starshines"!     Thanks for your nice (much too nice) words!

Moonshine - that one is really crackin' me up!
