Albert Schweitzer had a long mustache
And wrinkles around his eyes.
Good ol' Al helped lots of folks
And won a Nobel Prize.

When I read you history lessons (which I enjoy very much) I think you must have been born under the sign of cancer.

You are so close - Pisces... both water signs - very in tune with one another!  And thank you so much for the compliment on the "history lessons".  I loved doing these "lessons" and am learning so much by reading everyone else's poetry and writing some more of my own, that I may take them up again.  It is so much fun! Hmmm, why did you think cancer?

Enjoyed reading this...I used to value the Nobel until Al Gore won, and now I'm not so sure of their selection process...James

James Michael - thanks and hee hee on the Al Gore comment... I'll plead the 5th.

Huan Yi - thanks that means a lot...

I hope you all are getting the other ones also... they are short, maybe I should put them together.

Richy too has a whiskered lip
That suits him when he’s late
Sippin hot water with coffee beans
in his ‘stache, oh boy, it is so great!

I know… my mind is like yesterday’s coffee

A little weak, in the bean

Hmmmm! Perhaps I should grow a mustache! I already have a few wrinkles around the eyes! ~ Then I'd be a shoe in for winning the Nobel Prize. Now let me see, for which one?!? Aha! I got it! The Reece's 'Peaces' Prize!

Cute write!

I'm so glad you all like my silly history lessons.  Soooo goofy, but soooo fun!  And Richy... lol.... you may be goofy and fun, but you most certainly aren't week!

Thanks all!

Imagine that! I'm a Pisces too. I thought you were a Cancer because they are usually interested in history. Keeper's of the family geneology and the like. Maybe you're a Pisces like me. I have a cancer ascendant.
Love history.
Actually there are several "fish" on the site, which is not surprising since they are usually into poetry. Seems we have a "school of  fish" here.
