President Jefferson called Meriwether Lewis:
"We have a little favor, we'd like you to do us.

We need you to explore over river and land.
Whadda ya' say? Will you give us a hand?"

Mr. Lewis said "Sure. Let me get William Clark.
Come to think of it Prez, we'll need a large barge."

The Lewis and Clark expedition,
Started in 1804.
It ended two years later,
On the western shore.

Huan Yi - Hope you don't mind if I leave that part out.  The intended audiance of grade schoolers and witty persons can find that out for themselves.  As long as someone remembersthe names, 1804 and two years later... I'm happy.

Gar - thanks!
