Sum Days Some days just pass you by, Along with not much care. A summer breeze, a time of ease, An emptiness to share. Adding up the sumtimes thoughts, Those too far of touch. Summer nights the mind rewrites In quiet times of such. The silent warmth of summer sun In swinging to and fro, Lets old refrain to feel again The sum of long ago. What a warm and gentle feeling this gave me, like being lazily 'suspended' in mid-air while flying high on the swing-set when I was 7 years old! |
