A troll once showed me
where marshmallows grow,
he said it is a secret
so I can't let you know.

But I'll tell you it's a place
like Willy Wonka's factory
with little marshmallow farmers
who all work for free.

They pick the minis
just days after they sprout,
but I prefer the giant ones
that live the whole year out.

The lesson in this silly poem:
see things in a different way,
believe in the unbelievable,
you might find that things just may
not always be what you've always known-

I've seen where marshmallows are grown.

Yo Passing shadows,

I love this one.  I want to know where these giant marshmallows grow.  I love the things.

Dixie, I love this to bits in every imaginable way, including where I chew up marshmallows into very small bits to swallow while wallowing in their taste!

The title, the picture, the cleverness, the humour, the smile I can't get off my face, the taste - it is all just soooooo good!

Oh, and I forgot to say that I love the new photo.  I must have been too busy thinking of the smell, taste and texture of marshmallows!

Cute and wise, dear Dixie! Love the picture! And I never knew what marshmallows were, so now I found the answer on google. They exist here too, but good for me that I don't like them . Too sugary

Love this much!

Hugs.

Well tweak my heart strings - that new picture surely does. Love it my friend.

Oh, was I supposed to say something about the write too....

Guess I need to read it first, huh?

Okay been there and done that -- now back to the picture....LOVE IT!!! The write I mean --- heh, heh, but adore the picture too, just almost as much as the last one, because I still see that same lovely soul in them both and favoritism tends to stick tighter to the one I've know the longest.  Anyway, I seem to be stepping into kaa kaa the further I write/walk, so I better quit.

Me - I was always partial to any part of you I could see, un-huh,  hear, you're pretty silent most of the time,  or read., now that I do a lot of...so there!!!

Stiiiiiilllllll....I do like this new picture...guess I'll have to figure out how to upload a new one of me so you can see how bad lifes been treating me....too much good food, head has resumed growing so all my hair is being pushed out to make way for my brain  -- yeah its in there somewhere-- and of course, being inbred has done wonders for my teeth and stuff...The new hip joint is working perfectly though, but that damn kidney keeps growing rocks and tries to push them through holes that are far too small. And my feet really do feel the rocks a lot less when I where shoes (go figure - who'd thunk!).

Tell you what...I'll just post a new one, so you can look at me  with out too much disgust,
one of my back side --- you know....behind me....
like the back of my head?.

There is actually real hair there, uncolored and ----that's about all.

I'm gonna go now...these vicodin extra strenght for my stones make me talkative and I don't want to get carried away...har, har.,
literally I mean.

Bye Now...Smile at that star just to the left of the moon tonight...casuse I'm smiling back at ya, my dear friend.....

LOL, I was ready to grab a stick and head for the campfire....er, perhaps bonfire for these? I enjoyed this delightful write, and your point of view, that we should be open to new interpretations!
PS, I called them alien marshmallows!

Just think! If this patch is in California near the wildfires, there could be one of the biggest marshmallow roasts in the history of the world!

The only thing I've seen comparable is a field where the farmer planted Cheerios to grow donuts!

Dixie, please read this carefully before you reply.  I keep coming back to this because I want to AND DON'T WAN'T TO be told what they really are - except of course for Kacy's delightful explanation of their being alien marshmallows!

Please don't tell me - but that doesn't stop me being curious - but PLEASE DON'T TELL ME!

Diana, I wouldn't have known what they were either had it not been for the caption that was underneath the photo. We don't see these things around here down south.

But it's good enough for me that they look like alien mashmallows. That's my story and I'm sticking to it LOL

Dixie-girl,
I normalle don't go for the rhyming poetry; however, the title of this one drew me in ,and you- as usual- did not disappoint.
I am sending this to the library.

What would you attempt to do...if you knew you could not fail?.
