LET SLEEPING DOG LIE
21 November 2006

Little white curls breathing
in your bed next to mine,
ears adoringly arranged
on your pillow.
I know you’re asleep
because your tail isn’t wagging.

Thank you Yann - yes, Daisy, my Maltese Poodle is a darling.  A poem about her has to be friendly!

VERY cute!

(If I whisper my dog's name? He wags in his sleep and whines.)

Oh, that is precious, Karen.  Give him hugs and kisses from Auntie Di, please.  Thanks for enjoying my Daisy poem.

Hugs
