a young boy read
attempting to sate an unquenchable thirst
from forth the well
of noble word
to explore
to explore and locate the very essence of all being
and soar beyond the rim of time
on weathered page
as he grasped for
aye, grasped for
tomes’ font
of human knowledge
instead he found himself
grasping for
shadowed dreams
of
his own imagination

a young boy wondered
a young boy pondered
is it real?
is it not?
does it even matter?

Tim,

You, of all, know what lies between
wondering, pondering, and acting upon.

A well-written/spoken poem for those
who dwell/live on in the absence of truth.

Thank you, Sir!
