When in doubt
of what 'they' want,
ask yourself:
"What do they give?"

It's almost always

what they want

even when they don't know it.

Reminds me of the Rolling Stones song, "you can't always get what you want."...James

I'm gonna pretend I didn't wait for replies...

Sue? You--YOU--you know.

Nothing else need be said.

Except I love you, 'cause that's all I want back.

Kacy?

Let me help ya offa the floor...

and James, sweet James, I'm gonna give you a kiss.

'cause all I ever really wanted was love.

Serenity blaze,

You’ve made a very wise observation.  Some people call it "strokes".

A brilliant observation, Karen, but then when was what you say anything less?

Totally off the subject, though vaguely related, but a thought that I often have, is, that it is said, give (and it is meant consciously) somebody else what you want, but if you want oranges and somebody else wants apples, it doesn't help to give oranges.

Sweetie, when you write less,
you always give more...

Some profound philosophy, baby!

Love is perceived and interpreted differently, that's why "bi" gets a chance to compensate ...

Neat statement, dear Karen!

Ahhhh, now that hit the spot Karen.  Wisdom wrapped up in poetic simplicity. This was beautifully phrased ... and ohhhh, so true!  Lovely to read you!

Best wishes and hugs,
/Kit
