Thanks for reading, Arctic Wind. Actually this poem is about Flicka, my darling late horse. I was his for 20½ years and I knew him for 2 years before that. He was 37½ when he went to Heaven and he was the most wonderful horse on the planet, bar none. He adored all people and all animals and they all adored him.
