Snow covers hills
like dust in the hidden rooms
of Hammer Horror.
Clocks adjust
to the ticks and tocks
of melting frost mornings
under the watery lemon sun
as the stain of day is
bleached into the
clueless sky.

(Insert - brand name)

Dark winter night,
stars twinkle and glisten like the
alien slime trail
in an old sci-fi film.
People are out skating
on the color wash ice
under a cut-out moon.
Pretty in a pitch,
unfounded sky,
its shy light
shines.

(Insert - picture of product)

A sleepy harbor wakes
to ice barred windows.
The cruel sea rages a safe
distance from the consumer.
Shining faces reflect
the lonely-glow
of a distant
lighthouse.

(Insert - strategically worded product-placement slogan.)

(Insert - Net. Weight (500g). Conforms to FDA standards.)

This is very clever--and I critique these things you describe, so I took particular pleasure in the reading.

It's nice to meet you, and I look forward  to more of your original insights!
