For Tedward …the faulty bear

Hold me in your arms and wipe away the tears
In the darkness of sunset    feel the breath of my fears

Deliver hope and desire
To the core of my soul
Turn the mists of my eyes
To a layer of gold

Let me devour your presence and savour your skin
Take my dreams to the heavens play the stars held within

To my smile we will fly
On the wings of a whisper
To my hearts craven wish
My longing will be there

When morning arrives with a contented sigh
I wake and look up to your one wonky eye

To me you’re the best    the knight of my road
A girl’s never lonely with a teddy to hold

How absolutely lovely! ... and I can relate, ok I am a grown-up "girl" but still I do love those teddybears ...

Love,

What an adorable write! If a man can do for us all that our 'Tedwards' do for us ~ then he's a keeper! lol Our cuddle bears set a high standard!

Cuddle bear hug,
Linda

Hugs to you and darling Tedward.  Just 2 things you got wrong.  Teward isn't faulty and his eye isn't wonky.  Tedward is full of character and his eye is special.  Smiles.

OK Ray - you must stop this.... lol...it about brought me to tears!  Of course, I'm also listening to music which put some more power behind it, but your writing is just awesome.  Thank you for it! deb

Thanks, Ray.  I'm glad you enjoy my replies.  Just need to tell you that the smiles were not joking smiles (in other words, not laughing at what I said), but smiles of friendship and to let you know that I wasn't upset with you (well, not very!) about saying that Tedward was faulty or that his eye was wonky.  I am glad that the girl (whom I suspect is you) knows that. Smiles.
