In The Meadow of the Silky Sun

Early on a Sunday morning
I went hiking at a place
called Aiea Heights.
The birds were singing
and the trade winds
were blowing and the
ambience was very nice.
After walking a few miles
upon the trail, I
noticed a woman walking
towards me having
a lovely smile.
She ask me if I had visited
the meadow of the silky sun
and then she ask me if I'd
like to go, saying it would
be lots of fun.
Hand in hand we departed
upon a trail lightly traveled,
in some places the trail seemed
to come to an end, but again
the forest would unravel.
As we walked we talked
of the pursuit of happiness
and we both agreed that when
living in the moment with
the person you wish to be with
and in the place you want to be,
all were keys to finding bliss.
A few steps more and then we entered
the meadow and I was pleased to see
we weren't the only ones, many others
were sharing the bliss of happiness
in the meadow of the silky sun.

Dear James, you painted a very charming picture with this sweet poem. And how poetic is this meadow's name!

Very lovely.
