You reside in the mists of my dreams
where every wish I’ve ever wished for
has come true
because it is when I am there

that I am with you,
the one who brings sunlight into
these cloudy days
when I’m struggling and feel
that I’ve lost my way
it is you,
that sprinkles stardust
in the skies.

It is here, where you capture my sighs…

As the dawn arrives
and night slowly fades to close,
it is then, that I will pray
for the sanctuary of night

to swiftly return,

that I might then, again dream
of a wished for reality
that my heart already knows

can never be.

Oh Donna, your writing is so wonderfully heartfelt.
Each and every sigh kinda got caught in my throat.
This is so sadly beautiful.

Big ol' hugs, gentle one~

the night sanctuary
is just that state of being
where dreams can exist
behind the light of dawn
i know those sighs
light as baby's breath
lovely words here

So beautiful, your phantasmal dreams, dear Donna!
... dreams not always remain confined to the night, your heart knows that too. But we can shape them to such perfection, that reality finds it difficult to manifest them in our lives.

There is joy and healing in your words.

Love and hugs.

Donna,

Sometimes I think that I am meant to read certain poems on certain nights.

I was meant to read yours tonight.

Thank you,
A
