I hear your footprints making barefoot sounds
and the whispering of your skin
drifting through the night sides
with nothing else on

you got into my mind through my eyes
I didn't blink fast enough
but you said you wanted to show me you
for even longer than I first asked for

the night birds know us both suddenly
distant vacationing in the same small boat
hell to heaven far apart but touching
and knowing the medicine we took

only helps strengthen our addiction

daark, you have an intriguing usage of words that keeps me spellbound from start to finish. "barefoot addiction" takes me back to a time in my life when i was young, in love and invincible.

That's a nice thought D, like taking a midnight cruise in the heat of the summer,  with the sails down, of course.

Going no where fast, in a hurry!!

D

You make me want to hold my addictions tight until the moon looks down again, then fling them into the air to dance among.

It's kind of a primal thing, maybe.
