Can't buy gas, huh?
tired of kow taoing
to Arab potentates and Persian moguls?
Billy Jimmy, Carter gas lines, huh?
Cheaper crude or no more food, huh?
Remember when the Persians took our partridges away?

There's a brewery up here
where they are trying something new.
So new they don't know what to call it yet.
You can fill up
on a mixture of gasoline with beer.
No! It's for your car, you dummy!
But if all you need is gas,
just remember Jimmy Carter,
remember Billy and his beer.

some of us ARE old enough to remember
the gaslines and carlines of waitlines...

and we left our motors running to get "cheap" to today's dollar of fuel...because back then, it took more dollars to start the car, then it kept it, to run on fumes!

It's way beyond time for better fuel efficiency vehicles, alternatives to petroleum, and for millions of Americans to re-discover their feet, especially for short distances.
Price gouging and outrageous profit margins,
ie GREED is an underlying problem.
Unstable politics and so-called lack of oil are just smokescreens. The major oil companies have admitted repeatedly they've had HUGE profits this past year.
