slow slow dancin'
as my fingers rake the lace

of the slate blue crinoline

so I can trace

aureoles' accident

as the last note slips

like the bad wine on my teeth...
grinding like an innocent

and whispering confessions--

damned

blushing into furious

chattering of teeth

and this

naughtiness proclivity

suckling my finger's sleep:

haughty in the moment 'till

I curl into questioning--

hands in prayer beneath my head.

Damn!

The title alone is imposslble to resist "aureoles' accident"

and then your writing

draws me in with each word - and I come back to read again, then a third time.  Finally, I write out a responce.

And I say

you amaze me with every piece you post.

How sweet of you to fertilize my "egg". (*chuckle*--I call those 0's in the reply box eggs)

and by the way, you remind me so much of myself, already thinking poetry, but working so very hard and effectively to add to your toolbox.

You, m'lady, are someone to be watched, read, and savored.

You give me much joy.

Dear Karen, there are not many who can speak out so wonderfully like you ... I love the title and every word. Captivating and mirroring a truth I recognize.

Stunning work!

Love and hugs.

smile...Margherita? I nearly didn't post this one since it's a fairly vague metaphor, I didn't think anybody would "get" it. Then I thought, "So what?" and posted it anyway. *chuckling*

I should have known though--you have those eyes that see on through, and I do love you for that. thank you

You are a true wise woman.
