I tried to write a poem, but I failed to every time,
It seems I was a doofus when it came to writing rhyme,
I wrote and wrote, and wrote and wrote, but still no poem came,
It seems as far as poetry, that failure was my name.

At wit's end, I said enough, no more I'll try and write,
A poem 'cause it is too hard, I cannot get one right,
I could not write a sonnet, I could not write an ode,
I really felt my muse and I, were ready to explode.

I put my pen down on the table, I turned by chair around,
I was backwards to the table, when to my joy I found,
I could write a poem, no more saddled with a curse,
I found all that I needed, to was write my odes inverse.

Turn around...and now I won't get that song out of my head all day!

Happy Friday, Tim!
