Felix is seventy-one years young.

He walks into a drug store
to buy a pack of stogies.

The clerk asks him
what he’s doing tonight,
does he have any plans?

For some reason
Felix can’t get away
from that.

He supposes
it’s nice to
still be wanted.

Felix is right. It is nice to feel wanted.
Enjoyed.

Thanks dear Alison,

I'm pleased this poem worked for you.  It was a funny and kind of flattering encounter.

Thanks Ray,

I'm pleased you enjoy my stories.

Perhaps surprised would be a better word than flattered.  I was surprised to be hit-on when I’m seventy-one years old.

It is nice to have those moments. I'm happy for yours!

But everybody loves you, Felix! You're a diamond in the rough and with a heart of gold.
~ and from what I have gathered, Angelo is very handsome and I would suspect that his father is as well!

We all luvsya!

Thanks dear Linda,

Angelo is way better looking than Felix.  When you’re talking Angelo, think of Michelangelo's David.

Thanks for the kind words on this poem.

Love Bobby
