Casanova at Sixty

In his prime he was the man
about town, all over town,
there wasn't a Princess or a
Countess he hadn't taken down.
He was known to wine and dine
to flirt and impress many woman
out of a corset and dress.
Now his years had passed and
he wasn't doing as well,
some new younger studs had
out performed him and well,
the scandel rags had better
stories other then his to tell.
Casanova packed up his bags
and headed for Venice,
where a scientist named
da Vinci was selling a new
love potion he had invented.
Perhaps Venice was the
birthplace of viagra.

James,

I always loved working in Italy.  It's a wonderfully friendly and warm place, full of friendly and warm people.  They know how to live.

Take my word for it, Viagra wasn't invented there, it isn't needed.

James at first I thought you were writig

about yourself but now I'm not so sure.

Italy sounds like an interesting place.

Thank you Huan, Robert and Lindsay for the wonderful responses...
I was just wondering what it would have been like for Casanova as he aged and faced the younger competition...in those days they were also looking for the the fountain of youth and love potions.  James

Thanks Alison, graeshine and Prasad for the nice responses...we're all in this together, even Casanova aged and lost his virility and vitality at some time in his life...James
